Performance issues on IC 1.0

Distributed bot attack halted

The performance issues on IndieCommerce 1.0 were caused by a very large, very distributed bot attack. Because the bot attack used a very large number of IP addresses, it was difficult to identify and distinguish from ordinary traffic. The attack has now been halted and performance on sites is back to normal.

We are investigating slow page load times on IndieCommerce 1.0. IndieLite and IndieCommerce 2.0 are not affected.
